With the aims of encouraging research into the field of intercultural education by its members and of improving such research, the Intercultural Education Society of Japan has established the “IESJ Best Paper Award” and “Outstanding Presentation Award.”
The recipients of the “IESJ Best Paper Award” are selected every two years from among the submitted research papers (papers on a set topic and freely submitted papers), reports on practical activities, reports on investigations, and research notes published in the Society’s journal, “Intercultural Education.”
The “Outstanding Presentation Award” is aimed at early career researchers, and is awarded for “Individual Paper Presentations on Individual Research” given at the annual conference in June each year which are judged to be outstanding.
