ご挨拶

異文化間教育学会　第43回大会ご挨拶

この度、異文化間教育学会第43回大会を、2022年6月11日（土）・12日（日）に立命館大学衣笠キャンパスにおいて開催させていただくことになりました。過去2年間のオンライン開催を経て、今回は、オンキャンパスでの実施を予定しています。開催に当たっては、新型コロナ感染防止対策を万全に行い、久しぶりの対面での大会として、皆様にとって実りある時間を過ごしていただけるよう、実行委員一同尽力して参ります。

2020年初頭から始まった新型コロナ禍の中で、私たちは日々、教育者として、また研究者として、さまざまな実践課題と向き合ってきました。そして、あらゆる学校現場における試行錯誤の中から、新たな成果や課題が生まれています。今回の学会は、ウィズ・コロナ時代における異文化間教育研究をそれぞれの立場で考え、共有し、学び合い、今後への希望を感じながら帰っていただけるような、そんな場になればと願っています。

なお、対面での実施可否判断については、立命館学園の新型コロナ感染防止に関わるガイドラインに従って適切な時期に行い、皆様にお知らせします。まずは、対面での実施を前提に、大会参加をご予定いただければ幸いです。たくさんの皆様にご参加いただきますこと、心よりお待ちしています。

The 43rd Annual Meeting of the Intercultural Education Society will be held on June 11th (Sat) and 12th (Sun), 2022 at Ritsumeikan University Kinugasa Campus (Kyoto, Japan). After being held online for the past two years, this time we are planning to hold it on campus by taking all possible measures to prevent the infection of COVID-19. We will do our best to make this face-to-face conference fruitful and meaningful for everyone.

Since the COVID-19 began in early 2020, we have been facing various issues every day as practitioners and researchers of intercultural education. We hope that this conference will be a place where you can reflect on and share your experiences and thoughts, learn from each other, and feel hope for the future of intercultural education practices in the post-COVID-19 era.

We will follow the COVID-19 prevention guideline of the Ritsumeikan Trust for deciding on whether or not to carry out the conference face-to-face and will inform you of the decision at an appropriate time, if necessary. We sincerely look forward to meeting you at the conference.
